Pairpoint Joins DCSA+ to Strengthen Digital Standards for Connected Logistics

Lisbon, Portugal — [June 16, 2025]

Pairpoint has joined DCSA+, a partnership programme by the Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA), to help shape the future of secure, interoperable supply chains in the maritime transportation industry. With this step, Pairpoint becomes part of a global initiative focused on unlocking data-driven insights, enhancing customer experience and driving sustainability through shared standards.

At the heart of Pairpoint’s technology is SIM-based trust. This enables connected assets, including smart containers, delivery trucks, refrigerated cargo units and tracked pallets to authenticate, negotiate access to services and take autonomous actions in real time.

“Standardization and compliance matter, but they only work at scale when the technology is simple to adopt”, says Darren Palfrey. Chief Product Officer at Pairpoint . “Pairpoint is built to plug into any device or network, helping all players move forward together with safe, trusted data at the core.”

By collaborating with DCSA+, Pairpoint contributes to the frameworks that make cross-border automation, supply chain compliance, and connected logistics in a secure and efficient way.

Pairpoint’s commitment to secure, scalable connectivity resonates deeply with the DCSA+ vision. By joining forces, we’re not just supporting interoperability—we’re enabling it across the global supply chain. We’re pleased to welcome Pairpoint into the DCSA+ programme and excited about the impact we can make together in shaping the future of connected logistics” Mariana Bock-Losada, Chief Growth Officer at DCSA

This collaboration underscores a critical belief at Pairpoint: regulation and interoperability are essential for building reliable logistics systems. By joining DCSA+, we align technology, compliance, and human expertise to create a scalable, secure container shipping ecosystem.

About DCSA+
DCSA+ is a partnership programme designed to accelerate the adoption of digital standards across the container shipping ecosystem. It extends DCSA’s collaborative approach beyond ocean carriers to include technology providers, cargo owners, forwarders, feeders, and terminals. Through DCSA+, partners gain structured access to implementation support, early insight into emerging standards, and direct opportunities to shape digital solutions that are scalable, practical, and industry-aligned. The programme is built around three pillars: Connect, Accelerate, and Contribute—empowering partners to actively participate in solving the industry’s most critical digitalisation challenges.

About DCSA
The Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) is a neutral, non-profit organisation founded by 10 of the world’s largest ocean carriers. As the collective voice for digital transformation of container shipping DCSA works to align the industry behind open digital standards that improve interoperability, unlock data-driven insights, enhance customer experience, and drive sustainability.
